RESIDENTS have been warned to be vigilant as people have been seen acting suspiciously in a van near farms in the county.
The vehicle is a white Citroen Nemo small van with the registration V*13*PX
Dorset Police's rural crime team would like the public to be aware of the van, which has been seen in suspicious circumstances across the county over the past few days.
Its occupants have been seen acting suspiciously near farms and other rural premises.
The team wants to encourage other people to be on the lookout for it and report it if seen to Dorset Police immediately.
If this vehicle, or other vehicles, are seen acting suspiciously, gather as much information as possible, such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers, and contact Dorset Police on 999 if the vehicle or occupants are seen committing crime.
