Hi Readers, it’s Emily and William here. We decided this week we wanted to reflect and think about how our column is going. What is working well and what we can improve.

To help us do that, we wanted to ask you readers, if there’s anything you would like us to write about? For those of you who read often, are we getting it right? Do you like our articles and if so, which ones are your favourites or the most interesting? Which do you like least, and why? Do we need to be more punchy with our thoughts? We are not precious and so would love to hear your feedback so we can keep writing more columns which are relevant and worth reading!

Be warned. There is of course an exception to this. We are NOT going to write about Brexit as we think there is enough of that in the news already. Also, we don’t really understand it.

We really enjoy writing our column and coming up with ideas but sometimes we wonder what our readers might be keen to hear about.

You can send in comments on the Echo website, or write to us at People First Dorset if that is easier.

We suppose it’s a bit like an appraisal at work. Many of us get an assessment at work each year, to find out if we’re performing ok and what our bosses think of our work.

We would also like to thank all our readers for reading our articles and any feedback you have given us. We hope you continue to enjoy reading them in the future and letting us know your thoughts.

The writers of the Our View column are supported in their editing by The Friendship Club– a project for adults with learning disabilities, run by People First Dorset
