Easter egg hunts and trails are a must over the Easter weekend.

We've listed some great Easter-themed events that will be great fun for the whole family.

  • The National Trust has teamed up with Cadburys and is holding Easter egg hunts today, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday at Burton Bradstock's Hive Beach, or today and tomorrow at the Golden Cap Estate.

  • There will be Easter fun at St Swithun's Church in Bridport on Saturday from 10.30am.

Children can create their own Easter bonnets or garden and hunt for eggs.

Hot cross buns, biscuits and squash will also be available.

  • The Allington Hillbillies will be hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on Allington Hill on Saturday from 10am to 12noon.

it will be led by forest school leader Dan, with a chocolate egg for everyone.

  • Members of the Symondsbury School Friends have organised a Colmers HIll Easter egg hunt on Sunday from 10am to 12noon.

Entry costs £1.50, with a guaranteed prize for everyone.

Alongside the hunt, there will be tea, coffee, hot chocolates, cake and bacon rolls, as well as a grand draw with a star prize of a £100 voucher to the Stables restuarant.

  • Join in with the Secret Garden Easter Trial and Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday or Monday at Mapperton House and Gardens.

Discover little doors among the trees, the homes of fairies and wood elves, and crack the secret woodland code by collecting letters noted on the tiny doors to spell out a word.

Hunt for Easter eggs throughout the gardens and enjoy entertainment from Strawberry Jam the Clown.

  • Hooke plays host to an Easter egg hunt on Monday, which will takeplace at Kingfishers from 10.30am.

There will be refreshments, a bottle tombola, stalls and a raffle.

Entry costs £3 and all proceeds are in aid of St Giles Church.
