HANDMADE ice cream makers Baboo Gelato have launched hot cross bun gelato for the Easter holidays at their kiosks in West Bay, Lyme Regis and Morcombelake.

The gelato is made with real hot cross buns and is said to be deliciously smooth, creamy and subtly spiced.

Each kiosk is open every day from 12 pm to 5pm during the school holidays.

Baboo Gelato love to encourage all visitors to their kiosks to sample the different flavoured gelato and sorbets on offer, and even fussy eaters are tempted to try new tastes, such as damson ripple and passionfruit sorbet, which recently won a Taste of the West Gold Award. There are usually at least three sorbets on offer at the kiosks too, so dairy-free diets are well catered for.

Baboo has recently won multiple Taste of the West awards for a number of its gelato and sorbets, including Golds for their Vanilla gelato and Mint Choc Chip gelato, which is made using Summerdown peppermint from Hampshire.

You'll find Baboo Gelato at the beachside kiosks in West Bay (kiosk number 5, second closest to the bridge) and Lyme Regis (kiosk number 3, Marine Parade), plus the brand new Morcombelake trailer at Felicity's farm shop. Baboo is also available in select farm shops, delis and restaurants in the South West, including the River Cottage Canteen. Flavours are available on a rotational basis.
