Letter: Cycle path concerns for rare and elusive glow worms
I WAS interested to read about the concerns of environmentalists about the proposed cycleway down to West Bay and the possible effects to the wild orchids. But what about the glow worms?
Last summer, I was enchanted to discover these rare and elusive creatures thriving in the long grass right beside the footpath by the play area.
The part that will be widened further for cyclists.
Come on people, please let a modicum of common sense prevail and protect these rare creatures.
