Get stuck in and help keep our coast clean this weekend.
A beach clean will take place at Cogden Beach, just east of Burton Bradstock, this Sunday from 11am to 12.30pm.
The group will assemble at the National Trust car park and those attending should bring their own gloves if they can.
Joe Hackett, on behalf of the West Bay beach clean group and Litter Free Coast and Sea Dorset, said: “I will be giving a brief talk at the beginning and we will have a qualified first aid person, Barbara, on hand.
“I will have 17 litter pickers, some gloves and tins and bags to collect in.
“We are very unlikely to find biobeads at Cogden. The heavier waves there appear to scour them out and back to sea, although I am continuing to find them at West Bay and even near Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.”
