Our readers have certainly been early birds this week, judging by the number of beautiful sunrise pictures we have been sent.

We get so many submissions that it's a difficult job picking just one for our letters page in the paper each day, and to feature online at a weekend. Thank you to everyone who takes time to send them in.

If you have a picture you'd like us to feature, email it to newsdesk@dorsetecho.co.uk

Or, if you're interested in photography, why not join the online community Echo Camera Club Dorset? It's run by our sister paper the Bournemouth Echo, and features monthly competitions, advice and the chance to see your work in print. Check out the Facebook page here.

1. We started off the week with this beautiful picture of a sunrise over Weymouth by Duncan Crook. We think it almost looks like a painting, the colours are so lovely.

2. Then we had this lovely picture of dogs playing on the shore at Portland Harbour, pictured by Zoe van Zeller

3. And continuing the bright colour theme, here's a lovely picture of Weymouth harbour looking its very best by Grahame Howard

4. In a flashback to the snow at the start of the month, here's Colmers Hill in Bridport looking very frosty. Picture by Donald Marsh.

5. Another lovely picture by Grahame Howard, this time of a train leaving the tunnel at Bincombe and bound for Weymouth.

6. And finally, another lovely sunrise to end on, this time at Portland Harbour. Thanks to Chris Hoskins for sending this one in.
