Antiques expert Paul Atterbury is the next guest of the Dorset Archives Trust.

In an event this week he will talk about his personal relationship with Poole Pottery and the struggle to ensure that its archives were retained at the Dorset History Centre, the archive service for the county. Items from the Poole Pottery archive will be on display during the evening.

'An evening with Paul Atterbury - Design and Decoration at Poole Pottery' is on Thursday, February 14, 6.30pm for 7pm at the Dorset History Centre, Bridport Road, Dorchester.

Tickets: £11 (members £9) to include canapés and a glass of wine.

Mr Atterbury has made many appearances on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow. His specialist interest is in the art, architecture, design and decorative arts of the 19th and 20th centuries. He has written or edited more than 30 books, mostly on ceramics.
