RESIDENTS are invited to Charmouth Community Library to meet local PCSO Amanda King, who is part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, and Sally Parker, a volunteer of the Crime Prevention Team.
Attendees can raise any policing concerns they may have and receive information, flyers, leaflets and advice on crime prevention and Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
These are community-led, but supported by the police, and help to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour while bringing people together in a community.
Volunteers can use their local expertise to spot suspicious activity and assist the police with their enquiries.
If there isn’t a Neighbourhood Watch scheme in your area, go along and find out how to set one up or simply learn more about them.
Amanda King and Sally Parker will be at the Charmouth library on Saturday (9/2) from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
