Suspected drugs were seized and a man was arrested during a police raid in Bridport yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman for Bridport Police said that a quantity of suspected class B drugs was found at the property, in the Court Orchard area of the town.
According to a statement, a 24 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession 'with the intent to supply', and was later released under investigation.
Bridport Police have described the outcome as 'a great result'.
Police constable Kirsti Frecknall of Bridport neighbourhood policing team said: “Our local officers are committed to disrupting the activity of suspected drug dealers in the town and regularly carry out proactive operations as part of these efforts.
“We are focussed on working with our partner agencies and the local community to act on any concerns people have in relation to reported drug-related activity.
“I would urge residents in the town to tell us about any suspected drug dealing, drug use or related criminal activity so we can act on that information.”
