THERE are celebrations in Bridport as two neighbours have each scooped a £1,000 cash prize.
The Longs Lane residents came into the money when their postcode was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery this month.
Sending her congratulations, Judie McCourt said: “Neighbours winning together is what People’s Postcode Lottery is all about, so I couldn’t be more thrilled for our players in Bridport who have picked up a prize.
“You never know where we might be visiting next, so to be in with a chance of winning, make sure you have signed up with your postcode.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £382 million to date for 5,500 good causes across England and internationally.
