Police are urging residents to be aware of a suspicious car seen in the area over the past few weeks.
The car is a gold or silver Renault Scenic with the registration MW**UFH.
The occupants of the car have been seen acting suspiciously in rural areas and it is thought they are involved in poaching.
PCSO Tom Balchin said: “We have the full registration of this vehicle. We are sending out this alert to see if anyone else has seen this vehicle and to encourage other people to be on the lookout for it and report it if seen to Dorset Police.
“If this vehicle or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, please gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers.”
