A man is due in court in connection with the alleged unlawful supply of Manila Clams.
He is facing prosecution by Weymouth and Portland Borough Council for four alleged breaches of the Food Safety and Hygiene (England) Regulations 2013.
He is also facing prosecution by Dorset County Council for three offences under the Fraud Act 2006 and two offences under the Food Safety Act 1990.
The man, from Portland, is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court on Monday, January 21.
