I have lived in Dorchester (Swanbridge Court) for the last 10 years. During most atmospheric high pressure the TV picture first fractures, then freezes and finally becomes black with a ‘No signal’ message.
Perhaps due to global warming there has been increased high pressure this year resulting in loss of reception during serials, sport and most annoyingly for me halfway through a film.
BBC seems to be the worst channel.
This must be due to weak signal. I have carried out a local survey and I am not the only one.
For old people, like myself, TV is important!
Would you consider implementing a survey in your newspaper to obtain a better grasp of the situation Dorchester, Weymouth Portland and perhaps Dorset and then apply the necessary pressure for some improvement.
