ON OCTOBER 7, Bridport Lions held their 25th Swimarathon and the club members would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the local businesses who sponsored the event and donated raffle prizes.
Their support enables all sponsorship monies raised by the swimmers to be used by the Lions towards helping those in need in our community.
This year’s sponsors for the Swimarathon were AmSafe (main sponsor), ABC Blinds, A J Wakeley & Sons, Beach and Barnicott, Boilerman Ltd, Bridport Lighting, Carpet World, Conegar Lodge Care Home, Douglas Read, Fowler Construction, Freshwater Beach, Gorselands Caravan Park, Haddon House Hotel, JHAI Ltd, Kennedys Estate Agent, Long’s Fish and Chips, Nantes Solicitors, Peach Electrical, Smith & Smith Outfitters and SPA West Bay.
Raffle prizes were donated by, Arts & Crafts, Battens Jewellers, Boots, Bridport Bookshop, Bridport Music Shop, Framptons Butchers, Fruit N 2Veg, Gary Pitcher Locksmith, Gemma’s Flowers, George Hotel, Hair by David, Luke Hayter Fitness, Olive Tree, Rawles Butchers, Steptoes, The Lime Tree, Travis Perkins and Well Pharmacy.
Through their support we have been able to raise in excess of £4,000.
