Members of the Beaminster Manor Lodge of Freemasons donned their full regalia and marched through the town, the first time in almost 100 years.

Representatives took part in the Remembrance Day parade in Beaminster and were given special dispensation to do this.

This was a special occasion for the Beaminster lodge as this is only the second time this has happened, once before in 1919 when the Dorset Provincial Grand Lodge meeting was held in Beaminster.

Member David Craner, Master of the Lodge, led the group in the parade with Peter Wilson carting the lodge banner, its first appearance outside of the lodge since it was presented in 1997.

Douglas Beazer laid the wreath at the memorial in the church on behalf of the lodge.
