Get into the Christmas spirit as one of the biggest events in Bridport's calendar returns - it's the Christmas Cheer! 

And it looks to be another fantastic year, with late night shopping, dazzling displays, lantern parade and, of course, a visit from Santa himself.

THROUGHOUT TOWN

  • Late night shopping
    • 70+ stalls, including arts, crafts, local produce, food and charity stalls in the town hall, Art Centre        Electric Palace and along West, East and South Street
    • A free gift will be given to every child that visits Father Christmas in Santa’s Grotto, outside the Art      Centre (sponsored by Toymaster and Groves Nursery)
    • Fairground rides in South Street
    • Christmas tree festival running from December 4-16
    • The LSI and Alembic Canteen will be offering Christmas surprises
    • Bridport museum will be running a raffle, offering refreshments and mince pies, and demonstrating      how to make rope from 4pm – 7pm
    • Town businesses will be open offering seasonal refreshment

There will be free car parking all day on Wednesday in all council car parks. Throughout December in the afternoon there will be two hours free car parking in short stay car parks.
