Looking out the window, you wouldn't think that less than 24 hours ago the county was being battered by strong winds and heavy rain.
Photographer James Loveridge took these incredible shots of the Cobb in Lyme Regis as huge waves engulfed it.
And Laurence Herdman took some dramatic footage of a lively - and frothy - morning at West Bay as gale force winds blew against the waves.
Flood warnings are still in place for rivers in West Dorset, including the Lym, Winniford, Char, Simene, Brit, Asker, Mangerton and Bride, as water levels are expected to exceed bankful conditions during forecast rainfall.
Heavy rain is expected overnight tonight (Friday, November 30) and will continue until tomorrow morning, with further showers forecast throughout the day on Saturday.
