People gathered at West Bay last night for the lighting of the Christmas tree.
West Bay Days' Christmas Tree on the Green took place at Harbour Green.
The event kicked off with a church service for beneficiaries, including St Catherine's Pre-school and 1st West Bay Sea Scouts.
Despite wind and rain, a crowd turned out for the annual switch-on, enjoying a mulled wine and Christmas carols, accompanied by the St Swithun's Band.
