SANTA and his helpers will be spreading some Christmas joy around a village near you.
The Rotary Club of Brit Valley has been busy getting his sledge and reindeer ready to visit Bridport and the surrounding villages and towns during December.
Here is a list of areas he will be visiting next month:
Monday, December 3, Bradpole
Tuesday, December 4, Howard Road, Jessop’s Avenue and Happy Island
Thursday, December 6, Court Orchard
Monday, December 10, Beaminster.
Tuesday, December 11, Beaminster
Thursday, December 13, Cherry Tree and West Mead
Monday, December 17, Meadowlands and West Bay
Tuesday, December 18, Skilling
Wednesday, December 19, St Katherine’s Way
Thursday, December 20, Burton Bradstock
Santa and his sleigh will stop off at about 5.30pm on each event and all are invited to cheer him on his way.
Helpers will be on-hand so look out for those wearing hi-vis jackets with a Rotary logo.
As well as the locations listed above, Santa will visit Bridport town centre on Saturday mornings throughout December.
The Rotary Club of Brit Valley has thanked Stag’s Estate Agents for its sponsorship of the float.
A spokesman for the club said: "In addition, we should like to thank Burton Bradstock Cars for the loan of their four-wheel drive truck used to pull Santa's sleigh."
