EXCITEMENT is building for children and staff at Wren’s Nursery in Hooke Court, as work has now begun on their new home.
Children donned high-vis jackets and took tools to watch the first stage of the work commence.
The new nursery near Beaminster, which will open in September next year, will be situated in the heart of Hooke Court with access to the 24 acres of grounds on the site.
Nursery manager Amy Evans said: “The new nursery will accommodate a similar number of children to the current building that we occupy as we feel it is imperative to maintain the close working relationships that we currently have with families.
“The new building, being purpose built, will provide an open plan, bright space that allows children to move freely between the indoors and out.
“The newly designed garden will have direct access to the vast array of facilities available at Hooke Court.”
