One of west Dorset's most recognisable landmarks will look a little different tomorrow.

The team at Symondsbury Estate will light Colmers Hill pink to raise awareness of breast cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For every photo uploaded to Instagram with the hashtags 'ELCdonates' and 'TimeToEndBreastCancer,' Estee Lauder Company's Breast Cancer Campaign will donate £19 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

More than 5,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this October, and more people than ever are surviving, but physical treatment is only half the story.

Breast cancer can be devastating to a woman's emotional wellbeing and many are left feeling isolated from their loved ones, coping with anxiety, depression and the constant fear that their cancer will return.

Each £19 donation can fund half an hour of research.

The estate hope that by lighting the hill pink, passers by will be encouraged to take a picture and upload it with the relevant hashtags to raise money.

The hill will begin turning pink at 7pm, staying lit for a few hours before returning to normal.
