High Society was the key for one fashion business through a photoshoot.

Symondsbury Manor Yard based business, Colmers Hill Fashion, celebrated the arrival of its new stock of summer society occasion-wear with a fashion shoot at Steepleton Manor.

The business is preparing for events such as Royal Ascot in June, as well as Goodwood, Henley Regatta and Wimbledon, so planned the shoot to show a selection of outfits for women of all ages.

Local models Jane Briggs-Harrison, Carla Wood, Lucy Paull and Karen Harris were dressed in outfits by Out of Xile, Myrine Antwerp and Return Style, donning co-ordinating hats by Fiona Baker Millinery, based in Poundbury.

The models were pictured next to classic cars, a MG TD 1952 loaned by Neville and Kate Chambers of Wool, and and 1974 MG Midget MKIII on loan from Derek Ralls of the Dorchester MG Owners Club (MGOC Durnovaria 1008) to set the scene of the shoot.

A spokesperson for the business said: "For anyone with a ticket to a big society event and no clue what to wear, Colmers Hill is on hand for style advice.

"Ascot, Glyndebourne and Wimbledon all have different dress codes and practical considerations, which can be mind-boggling.

"Fortunately, Colmers Hill has been confidently styling local ladies since 2015 for all kinds of special events, with a range of sizes and fashions to suit all personalities and occasions, not to mention the great British weather."
