A body has been found in the search for a missing man.
Kevin Norminton, 43, was last seen on Tuesday morning when he left his home in his silver Ford Focus.
His vehicle was found in a West Bay car park, which sparked a huge multi-agency search.
Specialist search teams found a body below the cliffs near to Thorncombe Beacon at around 6pm yesterday.
Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “Although the body has yet to be formally identified, we believe it to be that of Kevin.
“His family have been updated of the discovery and are being supported by officers at this extremely difficult time.
“We do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.”
