Dorset has began to thaw, with temperatures set to increase over this weekend.
The Met Office's amber 'be prepared' warning for ice still remains in place for Dorset, but has now shifted and is affecting only north Dorset.
The warning, in place until 11am reads: "Following earlier spells of rain and snow, icy patches are likely on untreated surfaces during Saturday morning.
"As a result, driving conditions may become difficult and there is an increased chance of injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces. In addition, further outbreaks of sleet or snow could occur in places, mainly parts of Wales, central and eastern England."
However, areas like Weymouth and Portland look to be unaffected by ice today (3).
Temperatures look to be around 6 degrees in Weymouth today, although wet. Temperatures look to increase tomorrow to around 8 degrees.
A number of community events have also had to be cancelled and there was major disruption on the rails and roads yesterday (2).
