A man arrested in connection with a fatal crash has been released without charge.
At around 2.30pm on Wednesday, August 30, a collision occured on North Road in Chideock involving a green Ford Focus and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 68-year-old local man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 48-year-old Bridport man, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and assisted officers with their investigation.
He has now been released without charge.
