EVER wondered what it's like behind the scenes of the Antiques Roadshow?
The Chideock Society's next event will welcome the show’s antiques expert Paul Atterbury to talk about the events surrounding the making of the popular BBC programme, the people behind the scenes and the mix of the general public which make it enjoyable.
Paul's expertise includes ceramics, architecture, railways, canals, sculpture, design and the decorative arts, particularly of the 19th and 20th Century and more recently, important events of the First World War.
The event will take place at Chideock Village Hall on Tuesday, December 12.
Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
All are welcome and tickets cost £8 for members and £10 for non-members which includes mulled wine and seasonal treats. A Christmas raffle will be drawn.
Tickets are on sale at Chideock Central Stores and the Book Shop on South Street, Bridport.
