More than 150 people came to support an auction in aid of a mental health charity.
Duke's Auctioneers hosting the evening last week with all proceeds going towards Dorset mind.
The event was organised by leading Dorchester businessman David Upshall and raised just under £4,500 for the charity’s expansion into west Dorset.
Mr Upshall said: "I am delighted and have to thank all the local businesses and individuals who provided such marvellous items and of course the people who kindly bid.
"The evening was a tremendous success raising much-needed funds.
"I would also like to add my thanks to Duke’s Auctioneers.”
The evening ended with a brief talk by Dorset Mind’s chief executive, Marianne Storey, who asked people if they would spare a minute and vote for them in a community funding programme run by Aviva which would if they won, enable them to open ten rural Dorset support groups.
