OFFICERS searching for a woman who has gone missing from her home in Poole are appealing for the public’s help to find her.

Ulrike Blatchford, who is known as Ulle, was reported missing on Sunday 1 January 2017 but was last seen on Thursday 8 December 2016.

Ulle is 71 years old, white, five feet eight inches tall and has shoulder-length blond grey hair. When she is out and about, she normally wears cotton or corduroy trousers, a winter coat and a knitted bobble hat.

Chief Inspector Heather Dixey, of Dorset Police, said: “Ulle may become easily confused and sometimes has trouble remembering her name or home address.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for Ulle’s welfare as she has not been seen by anyone for some time.

“I am appealing to anyone who knows where she may be, or has seen a woman matching her description, to please contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.

“If Ulle sees this appeal, please get in touch with your family or police as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Ulle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at dorset.police.uk, email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting incident number 1:264.
