THE NEXT series of films being screened at Bridport Arts Centre starts on Thursday, January 9 with About Time.

At the age of 21, Tim discovers he can travel in time and change what happens and has happened in his own life. His decision to make his world a better place by getting a girlfriend turns out not to be as easy as you might think. The film will be shown on Thursday at 1pm and 7.30pm and on Sunday, January 12 at 7.30pm.

Sandra Bullock and George Clooney star in cliff-hanging sci-fi thriller Gravity on Thursday, January 16 (1pm and 7.30pm) and Sunday, January 19 (7.30pm) as two astronauts whose worst nightmare comes true.

In Blue Jasmine (Thursday, January 23, 1pm and 7.30pm and Sunday, January 26, 7.30pm) after everything in her life falls to pieces, including her marriage to wealthy businessman Hal, elegant New York socialite Jasmine moves into her sister Ginger’s modest apartment in San Francisco to try to pull herself back together again.

Sunshine on Leith (Thursday, January 30, 1pm and 7.30pm) is a 2013 British musical film directed by Dexter Fletcher.

It is an adaptation of the stage musical of the same name and features songs by The Proclaimers.
