Hi Ian,
I am "only" a fan and we have "only" seen each other at a few concerts. More I have seen you than you have seen me. Be strong and I know how difficult it is to lose loved ones. Despite the bad news, stay with us all, your fans, as long as possible.
I have been following you since I was 15 and now I am 64, your songs and of course the songs of Deep Purple have ALWAYS helped me in every phase of my life. Looking forward to see you and DP in Stuttgart in July 2023.
All the best
Michael

Ian, Grace (and Rowan), I have never had the joy of meeting Bron, but I got deeply sad when I heard about this. Ian knows how much respect I have for him -- and the woman who gave him a family always had a place in my well-wishing for him. His songs helped me through the grief when I lost my mother, a few years back, and I even had the chance to have a great conversation with him few months afterwards, which helped me begin to see the light again. So, take this strong typed hug from São Paulo, Brazil - as strong as the handshakes we had. All my admiration for the whole family.

Dear Ian
We have met a few times and I want to tell you and Grace how very sorry I am for your loss. 'Grief is the price we pay for love' and it is a high price. It is a long road to travel but you will gain strength from your family and from the love you and Bron shared. Be happy for your time together and remember all you shared when you feel strong enough. My best wishes to you and your family.

Dear Ian
I’m just a fan, I am one of the many faces you see smiling at your concerts, one of the many you see clapping and screaming, one of the many who returns home happy as you climb into your van and return to another hotel knowing that I was Ian Gillan that too evening. We don't know each other, we won't know each other, I'm not sure who Ian Gillan is off stage but you are a man like me and that's why I write to you and I hug you. Be strong. With love.
