BE enchanted by the curious and friendly shape-shifting toooB at Dorchester Arts.

This show, at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Monday, March 2 at 11am will enchant your pre-schooler.

As toooB explores the world around her she learns how things work and invents games to play with the humans around her. She is strange and beguiling but familiar and full of fun.

toooB is an enchanting wordless performance for 6-24 month olds and their grown-ups. A gentle sensory adventure where a performer is costumed inside a giant caterpillar-like tunnel creation, magically manipulating it before playfully emerging from the tunnel and inviting the audience, to play.

Artistic director Mark Tattersall said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing theatre for the very young to Dorchester. toooB premiered at Poole Lighthouse with two sold out shows to delighted audiences of preschoolers and their families. Feedback from these shows was that older siblings also really enjoyed the show, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

toooB has an original soundtrack, captivating movement and is designed to be a perfect introduction to theatre and dance for the very young, encouraging empathy and playful interaction. There is a stay and play session with the performer after the show.

Created by Angel Exit Theatre, designed by Verity Quinn and composed by Tom Ball. This production is supported by Arts Council and Lighthouse, Poole's Centre for the Arts.
