A human story full of unexpected humour and a message to seize the day is coming to rural Dorset.

Award-winning actor Pip Utton returns to Dorset in And Before I Forget I love you, I love you… at Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall on Sunday, February 9 at 4pm.

Pip's award-winning productions of Adolf, Chaplin, Maggie, Churchill and Dickens have toured in more than 26 countries to great acclaim, winning this south west based actor several awards for both writing and performance. This spring, Utton returns to Dorset for one special performance of his latest show with Artsreach, the counties touring arts charity.

In 2015 performer Pip Utton was awarded The Stage Special Award for Excellence. Famed for his skill in breaking the fourth wall and speaking directly to an audience, involving them in the emotions of his performance, Pip’s brand new, moving and affectionate performance is about the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease, not only on the sufferer but on family, friends and carers. Based on Pip and his brother’s experience of seeing their mum deteriorate with Alzheimer’s disease, and on intensive research and interviews, Pip’s character takes the audience on a journey full of smiles, laughter, respect and tears.

Described by The Stage as “a richly human story, laced with unexpected humour and a message to seize the day”, Pip will be performing And Before I Forget I Love You in Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall near Dorchester at 4pm on Sunday, February 9.
