Guitar virtuoso Phil Walker brings The Story of Guitar Heroes to Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday, January 25.

Now in its fifth year, the show brings together scores of fretboard legends throughout the decades showcasing classic songs featuring Weymouth resident Phil’s unique style and tone plus top-notch musicianship all round.

This dynamic show transports you through time: from the 1950s with artistes such as Chuck Berry and Hank Marvin from The Shadows, including gifted legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page, through to modern day players such as the great Brian May and the electrifying Steve Vai. This show’s extraordinarily talented band uses more than 30 guitars to recreate and accurately reproduce the sound and ambiance of each guitar hero. It features video footage of historical moments, with state-of-the-art lighting and delivered with a light hearted vibe – this makes for a truly sensational and enjoyable evening.

Phil’s been touring the world since 2013 with this production. He’ll be fronting up his ace band of Toby James and Lee Williams on guitars and drummer Alan Varnfield to take you on a historic and sonic tour of rock’n’roll history.
