With two acclaimed musicians and a 32-piece virtual orchestra, the People's String Foundation will give three special performances in Dorset this January.

Hailing from Cornwall, the People's String Foundation is a live touring audiovisual show. It is fronted by virtuoso violinist Ben Sutcliffe, director of music for Rogue Theatre, the Minack Theatre and Kneehigh Theatre, and co-founder and composer Zaid Al-Rikabi.

The brand new musical show, Res Publica, will see the talented duo perform alongside a 32-piece virtual Gypsy Orchestra. An exhilarating mix of music, puppetry, cinematography and animation will be set to a backdrop projection of the orchestra to create a unique and immersive performance.

The second half of the show offers a chance to hear the People's String Foundation's most popular songs and compositions from their time working as musical directors for various theatrical companies.

Res Publica will be performed at West Stafford Village Hall on Friday, January 17, at Burton Bradstock Village Hall on Saturday, January 18, and at Tarrant Gunville Village Hall on Sunday, January 19. All performances begin at 7.30pm.
