BRIGHTEN up your winter with a Big Midwinter Ceilidh.

Tatterdemalion, the band of The New Hardy Players, based in Dorchester, will liven up the Corn Exchange in Dorchester on Friday, January 10.

This energetic and colourful ceilidh band perform traditional tunes from the Hardy family and Ben Rose tune collections in a modern and fun style. Tatterdemalion welcome everyone to dance to their music, no experience necessary.

Expert caller Angela Laycock will be on hand to teach everyone, so come and have a good time and beat the cold of January. No experience is necessary.

As well as providing music for their productions, The TatterBand play as an energetic and colourful ceilidh band.

They perform from the Ben Rose tune collections, 19th century, handwritten books which are a treasure trove of folk tune gems, played with interesting harmonies, exciting rhythms and bouncing, bright tattercoats!

As a group of friends, Tatterdemalion enjoy playing together for dancing and we welcome everyone they welcome everybody.

All are invited to come and have a good time and beat the cold of January.

All proceeds from the eventwill go to support the next Dorchester Community Play.
