AN ACCLAIMED comedy theatre duo return to Dorset this January with the final instalment of their side-splitting trilogy.

Following successful tours of Glorilla and Gloriator, the award-winning Spitz & Co present Les Gloriables.

Inspired by Victor Hugo's classic novel, Les Miserables, legendary French actress Gloria Delaneuf is determined to create a piece of theatre with the power to unite Europe.

She has dreamed a dream, and her hapless UK tour manager Josephine Cunningham has promised to build a barricade.

Spitz & Co is a touring female comedy duo based in South Gloucestershire, comprised of Susie Donkin and Pauline Morel. Susie was part of the team behind CBBC's hugely popular Horrible Histories, while Pauline has a background in theatre as an actress and producer.

Performed in French and English, with music and visual effects, Les Gloriables explores socialism and the power of the people alongside the comic relationship between a selfish diva and her long-suffering assistant.

Watch Spitz & Co's brand new production at Buckland Newton Village Hall on Friday, January 24, at Drimpton Village Hall on Saturday, January 25 and at Winfrith Village Hall on Sunday, January 26. All performances start at 7.30pm.
