A CHRISTMAS musical comedy, full of festive spirit and fun for all the family, is coming to Portesham Village Hall on Saturday, December 7 and Dorchester Corn Exchange on Thursday, December 19 at 8pm.

Christmas. Time. follows the story of Charlie and Toby, who are feeling low as they spend Christmas Day at Her Majesty's pleasure - until they realise that despite their incarceration, nothing is stopping them from creating Christmas around them. What follows is a festival of carols, Claus, Christ and custody.

Complete with Dickins, pantomime, turkey dinners and festive films, join Charlie and Toby in an adventure of a lifetime as they put the 'cell' into 'celebration' and create a very merry Christmas.

The show is presented by the Cornwall-based Near-ta Theatre company, who have spent years creating high-quality original and entertaining productions. With a group of enthusiastic and talented actors, writers, musicians and technicians, they bring a unique style of comic theatre to audiences everywhere.

Christmas. Time. is written and performed by Daniel Richards and Ciaran Clarke, and directed by Simon Harvey. It is presented in collaboration with Dorchester Arts, a local charity bringing a wide variety of arts events to thousands of people across the county.

Dorchester Arts receives funding from supported by Dorset Council and Dorchester Town Council, as well as individual donors and corporate sponsors.
