AUTHOR Eve Bonham talked about her thought-provoking book at a launch at Winstones Books, Sherborne.
Eve's novel Dear Magpies is about a woman who has been desperately searching for more than 10 years for her grandchildren, who have disappeared on the other side of the world.
The Dorchester author explained that Dear Magpies is written mostly as a series of letters from the main character, a woman called Josie Cuff, to her grandchildren, using a nickname she has always had for them. She recounts her turbulent past life through emails, which she is unable to send. She is now living in a rural village in Dorset and trying to make a new life and new friends.
*Eve will be at Waterstones, South Street, Dorchester on Saturday, November 30 between 10am and 12 noon for a talk and book signing. Dear Magpies by Eve Bonham is published in paperback by SilverWood Books (£9.99).
