SINGERS from Wessex Musical Theatre, formerly known as Weymouth Operatic Society, will be holding their Christmas show Jingle Bell Rockout at Hope Church in Weymouth from Wednesday, December 4 to Saturday, December 7.

This is the first Christmas event under the group's new name.

Due to the popularity of the Christmas show last year there is now a Saturday matinee at 2.30 pm.

The first half features music from the musicals with songs from The Lion King, A Star is Born and a disco medley from the golden era of glitter and funky dance. The second half of the show features a traditional Christmas offering of festive songs and carols to get us all into the Christmas spirit.

Next year Wessex Musical Theatre will perform Oliver! at the end of May at Weymouth Pavilion. The group is currently on the lookout for Fagan's gang members and will be auditioning for youngsters to join them for this production in January.

The Wessex Musical Theatre facebook and website will update with all necessary details and dates.

Auditions for Bullseye the bull terrier will be held and the facebook page and website will give details of dog auditions.
