AWARENESS will be raised about men's experiences of mental health with an evening of music and words.
Brave Face comes to Dorchester Corn Exchange on Wednesday, October 16 at 8pm.
Providing the music are Cuba Libre, Nick Tatham and Andy Grant.
Dorchester Arts and Dorset Volunteer Centre have joined forces for the evening, which will raise valuable funds for the work of Dorset Mind.
The event celebrates the life of Andy Jacobs, a young musician and dedicated volunteer with both organisations, and the title comes from the shared belief in the importance of providing support and information so that men struggling with their mental health can open up and seek help...rather than just putting on a ‘brave face’.
