A BRAND new exhibition is set to arrive at The Gallery at Symondsbury on Saturday, September 7.

For the first time, the studio will showcase 2D and 3D artwork created by some of the 80 talented members of Lyme Bay Arts.

The exhibition will offer visitors a diverse range of art styles, techniques and processes to enjoy. It also marks Lyme Bay Arts' first participation in Bridport Open Studios, the popular arts festival celebrating the work of those who live and work in Bridport and the surrounding countryside. This year, the festival is boasting more than 100 artists taking part in 56 venues across the region.

Lyme Bay Arts is a community-based company that promotes art and artists in the south west region. The group supports inexperienced people to develop a body of work and exhibit it confidently, while providing workshops and mentoring opportunities for business and artistic practice. Lyme Bay Arts also works to develop links with other local and regional art groups and community organisations in all disciplines.

The exhibition is open daily from 10.30am until 4.30pm, with free admission and parking. For more information, visit www.lymebayarts.co.uk. Copies of the Bridport Open Studios' programme are also available from The Gallery, local TICs, and several shops in the area.
