WEEKLY watercolour classes are starting up near Dorchester.
They will be at the Brownsword Hall, Poundbury, on Wednesday mornings and Herrison Hall, Charlton Down on Thursday mornings.
The first Poundbury class will be on Wednesday, September 4 from 10am to 12.30pm and the first Charlton Down class will be on Thursday, September 12 from 10am and 12.30pm.
Students will require some materials and equipment, although this is kept at a minimum to keep costs down, especially for those starting to paint.
All students receive a discount card for use at various local art shops. The programme is suitable for those who consider themselves absolute beginners, rusty beginners, absolute intermediates, rusty intermediates, absolute advanced and rusty advanced.
The range of subject matter and techniques taught are wide and varied to give a thorough base for learning to paint in watercolour.
