SEE one of Shakespeare's funniest plays performed in the open air on Portland.
The Comedy of Errors will be staged in the grounds of Pennsylvania Castle on Thursday, July 25 at 7pm.
This classic tale of mistaken identities will be performed by The Folksy Theatre Company.
It tells of twins separated in a shipwreck who are reunited in the city of Ephesus, resulting in a series of hilarious mishaps and japes.
The performance will be filled with Folksy's live music, audience interaction and downright silliness. The evening guarantees laughter, fun and the beautiful backdrop of the Pennsylvania Castle grounds with views out to the sea.
Guests to the open-air theatre evening are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnics but a variety of refreshments will also be on offer from The Penn catering team, based in The Hayloft Café & Bar.
