QUARTET The Churchfitters return by popular demand to Osmington Village Hall on Sunday (14).

The group - made up of Rosie, brother Chris, Boris Lebret and Margaux Scherer - are skilled multi-instrumentalists and they bring an almost palpable energy to the stage.

Their audience is carried effortlessly through toe-tapping 'can’t-sit-still' fiddle tunes and on to husky blues and ethereal originals before being convulsed with tales of life as seen from the ‘fitters perspective.

The Churchfitters last played in Osmington at The Big Gig & BBQ in 2018, when they wowed the packed house with their adventurous take on some folk classics combined with songs written by songstress Rosie Short, and all played on array of instruments that has to be seen to be believed – including a guitar made with Mercedes hubcaps, a musical saw, a glass harp, a double bass made from a motorbike petrol tank and pretty much anything that can be rattled, shaken or whacked with a stick!
