BACK to tell the well-loved tales of Chaucer is the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
The theatre company will be performing The Canterbury Tales at Bridport Arts Centre as part of their 2019 tour of the West Country.
The stories are a touchstone of English literature and follow a colourful cast of characters as they set off for Canterbury, sharing anecdotes of love, lust, adventure and chivalry. An insight into medieval life, all corners of society rub shoulders as the miller, the steward and the wife of Bath all have their tales to tell.
Lisa Wilcock, of Bridport Arts Centre, said “We enjoy seeing Bristol Old Vic Theatre School on our stage. Year on year we sell out because people know they are guaranteed a quality performance. We look forward to seeing this classic tale come to life."
The students will be performing in Bridport on Friday, June 14 at 7.30pm. Tickets can be bought from the Bridport Arts Centre website or by contacting the box office.
