THE Quangle Wangle Choir will head for Buckland Newton, north of Dorchester, for a concert this weekend.
The Weymouth-based choir will be singing songs of comings and goings, both in this world and beyond. Expect American roots music, English folk, kitschy pop songs of yesteryear as well as South African advice on pleasing your new mother-in-law!
The concert will be on Saturday, June 8, 7.30pm to about 9.15pm, at Buckland Newton Village Hall, DT2 7BZ.
Tickets are available from the website (quanglewanglechoir.co.uk) or from Juliet Harwood on 01305 814940 and cost £6 if paid for before the day, or £7 on the door. Accompanied children's tickets are free.
