INTERNATIONAL films will be shown at the Royal Manor Theatre, Portland, for the Dorset Indie Film Festival.
The festival, on Friday, May 24, from 6pm to 9.30pm, is now in its second year and showcases international film talent in a number of categories.
Celebrating independent and student film from across the globe, the festival's aim is to increase awareness of film art in Dorset and explore the capabilities of today's film students and the future of the industry.
The team have received more than 150 films from all over the world and have selected 18 to be showcased at the film festival.
The judging panel have also agreed on a best film award, which will be given out at the end of the night.
Tickets are free when booked online through ticketsource.co.uk/dorsetindiefilmfest or £1.50 on the door subject to availability. Doors open at 5.30pm. There is a strict age limit of 15+ due to some of the films' content. There will be a bar at the event selling alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Call 01305 208961 for more information.
