DUE to popular demand, award-winning comedian and former doctor Adam Kay will be performing an additional night at the Lighthouse in Poole. He will now be appearing on Thursday, June 13 in addition to Tuesday, June 4.
Adam is touring his new show, This Is Going To Hurt (Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor) based on his medical memoir of the same name.
The show was a sell-out success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival between 2016 and 2018, and the accompanying book is a Sunday Times bestseller.
Adam’s show cleverly combines shocking stories from his time as an NHS doctor with spoof songs and brilliant wordplay to create a night of hilarious entertainment.
Copies of This Is Going To Hurt, which is being made into a major BBC series, will also be available to buy and have signed on the night.
The show will take place in the Concert Hall at Poole Lighthouse. Tickets are £25 each and can be bought by visiting poolelighthouse.co.uk or by calling the box office.
