SINGER and actress Diana Chrisman will perform a village concert followed by a question and answer session.

Diana will give the concert at St Andrew's Church, Charmouth, on Friday, May 17 from 7.30pm in aid of the St Andrew’s church renovation project.

During the first half of the concert Diana will be singing some of her favourite songs from the musicals and then talking about her varied career in the second half. Following this she will hold a Q&A session when she will answer questions from members of the audience.

Diana, who is originally from Poole, is now living in Toronto, Canada. She trained in musical theatre for three years at one of London's most prestigious drama schools; Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

Prior to this, she attended the six month acting intensive foundation course at the Oxford School of drama. Diana has been working professionally in the industry for more than 13 years, with experience in theatre, musical theatre, variety shows, cruise ships, TV and film, web series, recording, corporate and commercial work.

She also works as a voiceover artist, usually from her home studio. Her varied career has taken her all over the world. Her passion is really her work, exploring new creative opportunities, and learning about different things when creating or playing a role.

She also enjoys travel, going on adventures to explore new places, and learning about different cultures. Art and music are also keen hobbies. Other experience includes directing and teaching (age four to 18-year-olds, character work within children's entertainment, theme nights, corporate role-play, events and hosting or presenting.

Diana is thrilled to be visiting Charmouth to sing some of her favourite songs from her repertoire, and excited to relate an insight into the life of a performer: the ups and downs, the perceptions of others, the funny moments, the discipline it takes, and ultimately the rewards of a life in the arts.
